Levi's helped create this "smart jacket," with the name "Commuter," which can communicate with a mobile. "When someone calls you, your jacket vibrates, your lights go on and you know that someone is calling you." This is already possible thanks to a project called Jacquard by Google, which is a digital platform for smart clothes. The Jacquard Project partnered with Levi's to create the first "smart" jacket with washable technology, created by Google, woven into the fist. A touch on the hem can also provide navigation and play music when combined with a mobile phone, headphones and a small piece of removable hardware, called a quick tag, that attaches to the hem.
